Providing we have no long term injuries, it has to be Payet. If he doesn't get it, I will eat the grass whole, Boleyn ground pitch.
Runner up? At the moment, it has to be Noble, who has done a good captain's job.

Re: Hammer of the Year
For me its Noble Easy, he has lead the team brilliantly covered every blade of grass and surprised many of us who thought his day's at West Ham were probably numbered with all the great signings coming in.

To think when he got the new contract I felt West Ham were making a big mistake, I am very happy to be wrong.

A true Hammer.

I would understand Payet getting it though

I'll wait to see who scores the goals and how we play in the Cup final before making my choice.

Re: Hammer of the Year
1. Payet
2. Antonio
3. Noble
4. Ginge
5. Ogbonna

Re: Hammer of the Year
Unbelievably tough, as no mention of Cresswell demonstrates. Bloke has been quietly outstanding and reliable.

1.Payet
2. Kouyate
3. Noble
4.Antonio

Antonio on current form.

Re: Hammer of the Year
Hardest pick I can ever remember.

1. Payet
2. Ginge
3. Antonio

And that's harsh on Oggie, Kouyate, Noble, Adrian and a much improved Cresswell.

What's the cut off age for YHOTY?
Maybe give the young player award to Obiang as he deserves recognition too.

Re: Hammer of the Year
Payet for me.

Antonio just behind.

And about 5 or 6 joint third

Pervy McBeer 12:55 Thu Mar 3
Re: Hammer of the Year
Is there an age limit on YHOTY? If so, surely one of those in the running could receive that accolade instead?

Had a right mare with the poll today, kept crashing, double posts etc then i missed out Ogbonna the time it actually worked!

Re: Hammer of the Year
Still too early to say 100% that it's Payet. We'll have played 13 more games by the time we've won the FA Cup and finished in the top 4. There could be another standout player in that time who ends up being the main man in our success.

Re: Hammer of the Year
We've had a great season and big performances from a lot of players.

But payet will absolutely piss it.

Re: Hammer of the Year
Just because Payet has this sewn up and then some does not mean the likes of Noble, Antonio, Ginge, Lanzini, Scouse & Ogbonna have not had brilliant seasons. No shame in finishing runner up to arguably one of the best 3 players in the division

HOTY - Dimitri Payet
Runner up: Michel Antonio
3rd Place: Mark Noble

oops I read as man of match!!

Eddie B 12:21 Thu Mar 3
Re: Hammer of the Year
Antonio should be up there for sure.

Rossal 12:20 Thu Mar 3
Re: Hammer of the Year
Payet
Ginge
Adrian

very tight between top 2, Kouyate or Ogbonna could edge Adrian for 3rd during the run in
